昨年に引き続きワールドツアーを行うDJユニット兼イベントみんなのきもちと本年15周年を迎えたWWWによる毎年恒例のWWW / WWW X / WWWβの3フロアを用いた全館解放のニューイヤーパーティが共同開催。これまで新世代を軸に多様なジャンルを展開するフォーマットから一転、古今東西のダンス・ミュージック・カルチャーの伝統を新世代が紡ぐ新・伝統へとフォーカス、通例のクラブ・ナイトから異例の24時間というレイヴ的長尺へと変貌を遂げ、革新から伝統、破壊から構築、風から土へと流れる有機的な連帯を持って新たな祝祭の高みへ駆け上がる。

全国各所から以下24組の出演が決定。

WWW X:

WWW Xはヤーマン&オブスキュアという特異なテクノ・セレクターの名手AKIRAM EN、トラップとフットワークに連なるUSクラブ・サウンドとハイパー的なエレクトロニックの新たな融合を見せるeijin、ジャパニーズ・テクノを下地にダンス・ロックを突き進むJun Inagawa率いるユニットFrog 3のライブ、トランス・ミニマル的な中庸性を増すHue Ray、津々浦々のテクノ現場での遊びを極め、ここ数年ベルリン・テクノの聖地ベルグハインを軸に欧州を巡るMari Sakurai、東京拠点のハウス・ミュージック・コレクティブ、ダンス・フロアの象徴ミラーボールを回し続け来年10周年を迎えるKotsu, Nari, DNGによるCYK、元祖Y2Kミニマルの名門レーベルKompaktからリリースもある、テクノを支点とした大阪拠点のサウンド・デザイナーErik Luebsのライブ、オーガニック・サイケなベース・オルタナティブのアイコンsuimin、そしてカウントダウン・アクトにLorenzo SenniのPresto!?からリリース、パンクなアジテーションに富むトランス・レイヴへ切り込む批評的な電子音楽家Tasho Ishi、VJに映像作家Kiyotaka Sumiyoshiがラインナップ。

みんなのきもちをイベントとしてこれまで際立たせて来たアンビエント／リスニング・ゾーン"sommer edtion"が正午より展開。日常にある日本風情漂うダブ・テクノのパイオニアShinichi Atobeが名盤『Heat』をフィーチャーしたニューイヤーを祝すライブ・セット、フットワークを起点に超越の名門ダブ・レーベルHyperdubからのリリースに至ったアジフライでお馴染みの名古屋の電子音楽家Foodmanのライブ、NYの電子レーベルRVNG Intl.からリリースもある日本古来のサウンドやフィールド・レコーディングを駆使しながらコンテンポラリーな和を探求する音響作家SUGAI KENがお正月をテーマとした"電脳寝正月"なるライブ・パフォーマンス、エンターテイメントに富んだレイヴ・パーティ電気菩薩を展開しながらトランスからテクノの深淵へと開眼するTEI TEIがラインナップ。

全体としてトランスの祝祭的なカウントダウンのムードからテクノ軸の持続性高いダンス・ミュージックへと深まるナイト、朝方からハウスを交えた高揚へと上昇し、日中の晴れやかなアンビエント・ゾーンのライブ・アクトへと流れ、夕方から再びミニマルなダンス・ミュージックへと向かい、緩やかな起伏をつけながら24時間のマラソン的長尺のフロアを構築する。

WWW:

WWWではネット的解釈もあるモダンなニューウェイヴ的ポップ・センスを下地にフットワーク的音像を展開する札幌の電子デュオLAUSBUBのライブ、ダンス・フロアにおける"沼"という独自の概念を確立したCOMPUMA、Dr. Nishimura、AwanoによるB3BのDJユニット悪魔の沼、野生味ある快楽的エクスペリメンタルな音像とグルーヴで本年飛躍する鏡民、minamiとmichikaによるDJデュオSPRiNG SPROGSとしても活動、土を匂わせる現代の超次元的なDJスタイルで奔走するmichika、ハイパーポップをオーガニックにミニマルな方向性でサイケデリックな音像へと覚醒させて来たポスト・ハイパーの旗手とも言える岡崎の電子音楽家E.O.UとPeterparker69のアートワークを手がけ、短編映画を披露した映像・音楽作家jvnpeyのデュオがカントダウン・アクトとしてラインナップ。全体としてジャンルを諸共しない20年代における電子音楽の有機的な超越性から、快楽的なサイケデリックの沼へと深まるフロアへ。

WWWβ:

WWWβはミニマル＝ループを方向性としたレジデント・パーティ"loopな"を機に本年βの最多出演となった、古典の伝統性とポスト・ハイパーに宿るネオな有機性が織りなす独自性で注目のnano odorineがカウントダウン・アクト、名古屋からサイケデリックなトランス性を起点にトライバルに謎めくsabaotoha、ベース的解釈のあるテクノ性を帯びるディープ＆エクスペリメンタルな電子音楽家Yuoto Saito、大阪地下一階で定期開催されるfíeldのメンバーであり、マイクロスコピックな音像や抑制のミニマリズムある音源のリリースや最近ではユニットのライブも展開するast midori、４つ打ちを下地としたグルーヴで国内を駆け巡る若手の一人lostbaggage、東京勢も交えた関西ユースのダンス・フロアを直向きに紡ぐイベント兼DJユニットVIO-SSSがラインナップ。全体として新世代のスピードとミニマルな趣をキープしながら超越的オーガニックなグルーヴが連なるフロアへ。

また奇しくも長尺イベントとして共鳴する同日Forestlimitで開催のvqの48時間単独ライブ生中継をyoh murataがWWW X階段踊り場にて展示として、ポップアップにみんなのきもちとコラボレーション・グッズを発売したGB MOUTH、恒例のフードとなる年越しそばにTORATOMICAN、お昼からの豚汁と熱燗でTopiaがラインナップ。

様々なダンス・ミュージックのジャンルと文脈が各々の出自や世代と織り混ざりながら一つのうねりとなり、現代における伝統とも言える４つ打ち的な持続性と有機性から生まれる高揚と連帯を持って新・伝統をテーマに24時間を駆け抜ける。

Toward a new tradition transcending time and space. Minna-no-Kimochi, which travels the world, and WWW, celebrating its 15th anniversary, present a 24-hour New Year's Party with the entire venue open.

Following last year's success, the DJ unit and event Minna no Kimochi, along with WWW celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, jointly present their annual New Year's party. This event opens the entire venue, utilizing all three floors: WWW, WWW X, and WWWβ. Shifting focus from its previous format centered on the new generation exploring diverse genres, this year's event focuses on the new tradition woven by the new generation from the heritage of dance music culture spanning past and present, East and West. Transforming from the customary club night into an unprecedented 24-hour rave-like marathon, it ascends to new heights of celebration with an organic solidarity flowing from innovation to tradition, destruction to construction, wind to earth.

WWW X:

WWW X presents: AKIRAM EN, the masterful techno selector from the unique duo Yaman & Obscure; eijin, showcasing a new fusion of US club sounds rooted in trap and footwork with hyper-electronic elements; Frog 3, the unit led by Jun Inagawa driving dance rock forward on a foundation of Japanese techno; Hue Ray, amplifying a trance-minimalist neutrality; Mari Sakurai, who has mastered the art of playing at techno venues across Japan and has toured Europe in recent years centered around Berlin techno's sacred ground, Berghain; Tokyo-based house music collective Kotsu, Nari, who keep the iconic dance floor mirror ball spinning and celebrate their 10th anniversary next year; DNG's CYK, Osaka-based sound designer Erik Luebs--releasing from the legendary Y2K minimalist label Kompakt and anchored in techno--performing live, organic psychedelic bass alternative icon suimin, and for the countdown act, Lorenzo Senni's Presto!? Critical electronic musician Tasho Ishi, whose punk-infused agitation cuts into trance raves, and VJ/visual artist Kiyotaka Sumiyoshi round out the lineup.

The "sommer edition" unfolds as an afternoon ambient/listening zone which highligs Minna-no-Kimochi as an event. Shinichi Atobe, pioneer of dub techno infused with Japanese sensibilities found in everyday life, celebrates the New Year with a live set featuring his acclaimed album 'Heat'. Foodman, the Nagoya-based electronic musician known for his aggro-fly style, which evolved from footwork to releases on the transcendent dub label Hyperdub, performs live. The lineup also features SUGAI KEN, an acoustic artist exploring contemporary Japanese aesthetics through ancient sounds and field recordings, performing a New Year-themed live act titled "Cyber Sleeping New Year." TEI TEI, known for hosting the entertainment-rich rave party Denki Bosatsu, will open eyes to the depths of trance and techno. 

The night deepens from a celebratory trance countdown mood into sustained techno-based dance music, ascending into uplifting house by dawn. It flows into bright daytime ambient zone live acts, then returns to minimal dance music from evening, building a marathon-like 24-hour floor with gentle undulations.

WWW:

WWW features the live performance of Sapporo electronic duo LAUSBUB, who develop footwork-inspired sonic textures grounded in a modern new wave pop sensibility with internet-inspired interpretations. Also appearing is COMPUMA, who established the unique concept of the "swamp" on the dance floor, Dr. Nishimura, the B3B DJ unit Devil's Swamp by Awano, Kagami Min, who will make a leap this year with his wild, pleasurable experimental soundscapes and grooves, the DJ duo SPRiNG SPROGS by minami and michika, and michika, who races around with a contemporary, super-dimensional DJ style that smells of earth. The duo of E.O.U, an electronic musician from Okazaki who could be called the standard-bearer of post-hyper, having awakened hyperpop into a psychedelic soundscape through an organic, minimal direction, and jvnpey, a visual and music artist who handled Peterparker69's artwork and presented a short film, are lined up as the countdown act. The floor deepens into a pleasurable psychedelic swamp, emerging from the organic transcendence of electronic music in the 2020s that defies genre boundaries.

WWWβ:

WWWβ features nano odorine, who gained the most appearances this year during the beta phase through the resident party "loopな" focused on minimal loops. Their unique blend of classical tradition and neo-organic qualities residing in post-hyper has drawn attention. They serve as the countdown act. From Nagoya, sabaotoha, whose psychedelic trance-like qualities form a starting point for tribal and enigmatic sounds. Yuoto Saito, a deep & experimental electronic musician with a bass-oriented take on techno; ast midori, a member of fíeld (regularly held in Osaka's Basement 1F), known for releasing microscopic soundscapes and restrained minimalist works, and recently expanding into unit live performances; lostbaggage, one of the young talents touring Japan with his four-on-the-floor-based grooves; and VIO-SSS, an event and DJ unit dedicated to weaving together the Kansai youth dance floor alongside Tokyo talent. The lineup collectively maintains the speed and minimalist sensibility of the new generation, leading to a floor filled with transcendent organic grooves.

Furthermore coincidentally, on the same day as the long-running Forestlimit event, yoh murata presents a live broadcast of vq's 48-hour solo live as an exhibition at WWW X staircase landing. GB MOUTH who released collaboration goods with Minna no Kimochi have a pop-up, while TORATOMICAN serves the traditional New Year's Eve soba. Topia serves pork soup and hot sake from noon.

Various dance music genres and contexts intertwine with their respective origins and generations, forming a single surge. With the exhilaration and solidarity born from the four-on-the-floor persistence and organic unity that can be called a modern tradition, we race through 24 hours themed around the new tradition.
